Courses
GLA:D training courses for physiotherapists are run 2-3 times a year in various locations around Ireland.

Course Format
Courses are delivered in a hybrid format with all theoretical content available online and practical components delivered face to face with GLA:D tutors over one day.
Participants will have at least 2 weeks to complete 7-8 hours of online materials before the practical day.
**Completion of these components is a requirement to attend the practical day.
Course Fee: €330 per participant.
Learning Outcomes

Understand the latest research on the pathophysiology of osteoarthritis.

Understand the latest knowledge and evidence on osteoarthritis management strategies.

How neuromuscular exercises can be used in the context of osteoarthritic changes.

How to deliver the education components to patients with osteoarthritis including up to date presentation slides and handouts / resources to give your patients.

Processes for registering programme participants in the GLA:D® Ireland database.

Practical information on how to implement the programme at a clinic, in a hospital, or in another appropriate setting.
